Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
Meet you in the Tangier airport or Tangier port or in the hotel where you stay at 08.00 and departure to Chefchaouen, it’s located in the Moroccan mountains of Rif, in the north of the country. The city was considered sacred for centuries and it was even forbidden to enter to foreigners. Arrival in Chefchaouen and afternoon to have a first contact with the city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Chefchaouen
Breakfast and free day in Chefchaouen, to explore a city of spectacular beauty also known as the famous “blue pearl” of Morocco. Its streets painted in white and blue, offer visitors many arts and crafts stores, restaurants and cafes, beautiful views, in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fez
After breakfast, we continue our journey towards Volubilis. In Volubilis, we will visit the Roman ruins and learn about the archeological site and its history. After visiting the ruins, we will make our way to Fes, Imperial City, which dates back to the eighth century. It is also represents the center of civilization and religion of the country. Here there is one of the oldest universities in the world. At arrival, free time to relax and have a first contact with the city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Fez
After breakfast, you will begin to explore the narrow streets and alleys of the oldest city in Morocco with a local guide. When you visit Fes you will feel like you have made a leap into the past: your senses will be lost among wonderful views, particular sounds, intense aromas and many colors. We continue with the visit of the souks, one of the most beautiful and lively markets in Morocco with the famous district of dyers, potters and blacksmiths. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Fez – Ziz Valley
After breakfast, we leave for Ziz Valley through the mountains and the cedar woods of the middle Atlas, where on the way, we will stop at cedar forest to see the Barbarian Apes in their habitat. We will pass to Ifrane, a charming ski resort in European style. We will be in Ziz Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys of Morocco, for the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Ziz Valley – Merzouga
After breakfast, we will take hiking to the oasis of the Ziz valley, in marvelous natural landscapes. At the end of the hiking we will head towards Rissani, until to Merzouga. After a glass of mint tea, we will leave our luggage in a room and leave for a camel trek towards a Berber tented camp in the middle of the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. The camel trek will last about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The tents are well equipped, with mattresses, blankets and pillows. It will be a unique and special night.
Day 7: Merzouga – Meknes
In the morning, wake up early to see a beautiful sunrise on the dunes. Return to Merzouga with the camel to have breakfast, a shower and then departure to Meknes where we stay overnight.
Day 8: Meknes – Rabat
After breakfast, you will begin to explore Meknes, with a local guide, the smallest of the imperial cities of Morocco, a quiet and not chaotic city and above all offers truly unforgettable views. At the end of the visit our journey continues towards the capital of Morocco, Rabat where you can visit the Royal Palace , the mausoleum of Mohammed V, Hassan Tower and and many other interesting places. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Rabat – Asilah – Tangier
After breakfast, we continue our journey to Tangier, passing through the village of Moulay a very pretty seaside place. Then we will head towards Asilah, a charming seaside town. The Medina of Asilah is characterized by white and blue colors. Among the traditional architecture houses there are numerous street art works. Every summer Asilah hosts an important cultural festival, which attracts artists from all over the world who decorate the walls of the Medina. Our journey continues to Tangiers where we stay overnight.
Day 10: Tangier
Breakfast and transfer to the Tangier airport or port.
